His own research interests include the study of Human Exposure Assessment, Indoor air quality, Occupational and Environmental Hygiene, Exposure Modelling, Risk assessment, Risk management, Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology, Natural and Synthetic fibers - including asbestos, and particulate air pollution
He manages or provides scientific contributions as collaborator and unit coordinator to several research projects within Università degli Studi dell’Insubria and in collaboration with other research partners, encouraging also numerous academic-industrial partnerships for research purposes. In the last few years he also participated in international cooperation projects in collaboration with Insubria Center for International Security (ICIS).
Since 1998, he exercises with continuity teaching activities at Università degli Studi dell’Insubria, l’Università degli Studi di Milano and Politecnico di Milano.
